New Restaurant In Cairns

The Salt House in Cairns has recently opened to great fanfare and is the only restaurant with over-water dining in Cairns (down at the marina). It is beautifully fitted out in a prime location but the jury’s still out on the food at this stage. Great for an early evening drink though and there are 2 other restaurants nearby where the food is more guaranteed:
1) Donnini’s – an Italian restaurant in the Pier, especially nice for lunch overlooking the marina
2) Dundees – located at Harbourlights further along the inlet, consistently great food and service.
